FORMAT

10 games/team starting 8/28/99

Games will be scheduled only on weekends.

The majority of games will be double-headers, make-up games will be scheduled
on weekdays at the team's convenience

Registration is for teams only.

Coaches may check in the office for names of players looking for teams.

Baseballs supplied by the league.

A league roster and birth certificates are required prior to playing any
games. Players may be added to the roster at any time.

Teams need to carry extra players for the fall season to ensure that they
have enough to play at game time.

Very few exceptions will be allowed in order to relieve scheduling nightmares.

Teams have the option to trade games with other teams to assist in scheduling
after schedules are handed out.

GAMES WILL NOT BE RESCHEDULED AFTER SCHEDULES ARE HANDED OUT.

RULES
-
Play by sporting news rules with the following exceptions.
-
Extra hitter (EH), designated hitter (DH) are allowed, or a team may bat
the line-up.
-
Courtesy runners are allowed at anytime for pitchers and catchers.
-
No pitching limits (BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL).
-
Run rule: 10 after 4, 8 after 5 in all age groups.

10U - 12's play 6 innings or 1 hour 45 minutes.
-
13's & 14's play 7 innings or 1 hour 50 minutes.
-
JV & Varsity play 7 innings or 2 hours
-
Up to 2 automatic outs ay be used so forfeits don't occur.

Matching uniforms not required.

Metal cleats are allowed in 13's & older only.
